Our stuff (smartphones, appliances, clothes, cars, tools, etc.) are a part of our lives. These things are memories in themselves and they can also help you recall various events associated with them. That's why it's important to add them to the Memo app (and we've created a default tag for this). For example, you can add an old bike and remember the fun time you fell off it and scraped your knee.
But creating a digital database of things isn't just useful for memories. It simply makes your life easier. For example, when you need to download drivers for your laptop and remember its exact model. Or when someone asks you, "Bob, I like your coffee maker, I want to buy one just like it. Could you tell me the exact model?" Or when you want to order the same razors as before. Or when your TV breaks and you want to remember if the warranty is still up and what the terms are. Or you're just putting all the junk in the garage but want to remember what you put there. Or maybe you want to see how much money you spend on unnecessary items each year...
Memo app has everything you need to create such a home digital inventory. The main thing is to correctly enter the exact name/model of an item. Then you need a picture. We usually don't take photos of our things, so with the Memo app, you can use Google Image Search with one click and add a photo of the item. If you purchased this item online, it's a good idea to add a link to its online page (there's a special "Link" field in the Memo app). You can copy the parameters into the text field to avoid searching for them online each time.

Of course, there are specialized home inventory management programs. The most famous of these was Delicious Library, but it has unfortunately closed. But there are also alternatives you can find online. For each item they create a card with numerous fields and offer various analytics and graphs. But filling out all these fields is tedious and boring. Such specialized programs are more likely designed for homeowners and realtors that need to check if tenants haven't stolen or broken anything.
In Memo app adding item cards is a joy. You'll see how a picture of an old item can inspire new memories. Furthermore, it's usually easier to find the item you need in Memo app than in a specialized program. Even if you don't remember the name of something you bought in a Chinese online store, you can recall and find it by time, place or related events. And the main advantage of Memo app is that in single app you can track your stuff, books, movies, music, travel, health records, etc.
