The first thing you find on the Internet when you want to find a program for managing memories is the My Memories Suite program - a popular Scrapbooking Software. Well, yes, because the name of this program speaks for itself.
Indeed, in the good old days, photo albums were used like memory management systems. We chose the best photos, pasted them into albums (organized them on one page). And when you see not one, but several interconnected photos at once - you remember better what happened and why. In addition, the album was like a timeline of a small period of time, because we pasted photos in chronological order. And yes, leafing through the album, showing it to friends, we were inspired and interested in remembering and telling the story of our family.
What does My Memories Suite do? It actually allows you to create the same album, only digital, on your computer. You can leaf through it with a mouse, share it with your friends and (for a certain fee) you can beautifully design it (by ordering a design from professional designers) and print it out - get a paper copy. This is all very cool, but a computer program can provide much more opportunities for managing memories.

The Memo app allows you to operate not only with photos, but also with dates and text descriptions (okay, in My Memories you can also add titles to pages, but that's not it). One photo (one memory) can be included not in one album, but in several mosaics next to other related memo blocks. For example, you can view memories in the context of one year, or in the context of one person, or in the context of one aspect of your history (for example, professional development). So, My Memories Suite is more of a program for sharing your story with friends and family, and Memo app is more of a personal program that will help you have fun and understand yourself better.
