Let's say you decided to write your autobiography. Maybe you want to publish a book or just write the story of your life for yourself and for your children. Although now everyone logs their lives on Instagram and Facebook, but this does not really look like an autobiography. It is more for momentary interest - without any general idea, structure and prioritization. In general, writing a classic autobiography in the form of text with pictures is still relevant and may even turn out to be a very interesting activity for you.

Remember the hero from Tarantino's film "Heightful Eight"? When asked "what are you writing in your notebook?" - he answered that he writes what he understands best - the story of his life. But, despite the fact that you are the best expert in the world on the story of your life - "One does not simply write it down." If you just open Word and start writing an autobiography, you will very quickly hit a wall. You will get bored, you will not be able to focus attention, you will start to think that you have missed something and need to rewrite it. After all, most likely, memories will not come to you linearly, but in a random order - from different periods of life from different areas. Therefore, the program for composing an autobiography should also look like and work like a mosaic.
So what if you use a note-taking program like Evernote or Google Keep? After all, in them you can create mosaic blocks (with text and photos) in any order, and they have tags/folders that allow to build a mosaic separately for each aspect of your life. But these electronic notebooks are inconvenient for this task, because they do not allow to sort blocks of memories in chronological order. More precisely, they sort them only in the chronological order in which you create these memories. And without chrono-view, you will quickly get confused again.
There are also photo management programs like Google Photos, and they actually allow to organize photos in chronological order, and add them to different folders or tags. But such applications are focused on photos, while an autobiography is primarily (or at least half) text. So in the end you'll understand that you need something just like this:

It's Memo app - the most appropriate tool for writing autobiography. This program gives you complete freedom (like Notepad), but at the same time automatically maintains order, forming the correct mosaic. You can add memories in any order. You can add a photo to a memory or not. You can add a title, or you can do without it. You can add a date with any accuracy. If you don't remember - add only the year and a question mark. Such memories with a question mark - stand out in the mosaic, so you will not forget about them and someday find out a more accurate date.
With this program, you won't get tired - on the contrary, it will be difficult for you to tear yourself away from entering memos, because while looking at the mosaic - more and more new memories will be coming to you. And then, when you create an organized structure of your life story - you can easily write an autobiography in the format of a book with chapters and pictures.
