There are quite a lot productivity and task management apps that allow you to manage your life day by day. With these apps, you're running around like a hamster in a wheel and seem to be doing well, but sometimes it's helpful to take a higher level and look at your life from a bird's eye view to see if you're making progress in the right direction. And the Memo app can help with that.
Let's say you've already entered key memories into the Memo app - what was happening in your life. Now it's time to look at what was happening in your inner world. Add the "Goals" tag and, looking back at your history, try to recall the main (strategic) goals you set at certain periods in your life. Add images to your goals to better visualize your journey. You'll see how your priorities and the scale of your goals had been changing. Probably first you wanted to learn to fly, then go to space, then become the head of a large corporation, then buy a jeep, then find a girlfriend, then find a job, then change jobs, then at least keep your job. That's normal.
Also create the "Projects" and "Achievements" tags. In Projects, add all your projects at work, attempts to start your own business, home projects (renovations, movings), your creative endeavors (writing a book, painting a picture, starting YouTube channel), projects to help children (getting into school or university), your own educational projects, sports, language learning, self-improvement and maybe even psychological development. And surely, among these attempts, there were some successful ones – add them to the Achievements tag. Compare different periods of your life (year by year) – in which periods did you have more projects and achievements? How did you manage it? Perhaps there were some special circumstances back then?
Okay, but that's all in the past, but what about the future?
If you want to become more motivated and goal-oriented, create a LOG tag. At the beginning of the year, add memos with your goals for this year and at the end, summarize and analyze what worked and what didn't. At the beginning of each month, add a memo with your goals for this month and at the end of the month, use the same memo to summarize your projects and achievements.
Why is the Memo app better for life management than a notebook app? You have all your notes in one place - your life history, medical records, books read, and things purchased... An event log helps you remember your goals, projects, and achievements, which in turn help you to remember life events.
